This Cookie Policy explains how VectraGuard Security, Inc. ("VectraGuard," "we," "us," or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on our website and, for early-access pilot participants, in the VectraGuard platform. This policy should be read alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and use your personal information.

2. What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work efficiently and to remember your settings. Cookies may be set by the website you are visiting ("first-party cookies") or by third-party services operating on that website ("third-party cookies"). Similar technologies include local storage and session storage, which keep small pieces of data in your browser.

3. What We Store on Your Device

This website does not set cookies of its own. It does not use analytics, advertising, or tracking scripts. The one third-party service it loads is Cloudflare Turnstile, a bot check that runs only on the Contact page (section 3.3).

3.1 Browser storage on this website

Your light or dark theme preference is saved in your browser's local storage so the site looks the way you left it. It is not a cookie, it stays on your device, and it is never sent to us.

3.2 Cookies in the VectraGuard platform

When you sign in to the VectraGuard platform, which is currently available to early-access pilot participants only, it sets authentication cookies that keep you signed in. They are used only for authentication and security, and not for analytics or advertising.

3.3 Cloudflare Turnstile (Contact page only)

The contact form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which loads from challenges.cloudflare.com when you open the Contact page and on no other page. Cloudflare states that Turnstile processes signals such as your IP address, TLS fingerprint, browser user agent, and the site and origin it protects, only to detect and block bots, and that it relies on cookies and local storage to keep its state. We do not turn on Turnstile's optional pre-clearance mode, which would issue a cf_clearance cookie. Anything Turnstile stores in your browser is set by Cloudflare, not by us, and is used only for bot detection. Cloudflare controls the exact names and lifetimes and may change them: see Cloudflare's Turnstile Privacy Addendum and Cookie Policy on cloudflare.com.

3.4 Cloudflare delivery

The website is delivered through Cloudflare. We do not add other cookies ourselves, but Cloudflare may set strictly necessary cookies of its own to deliver and protect the site. If it does, those cookies are used only for that purpose.

4. Managing What Is Stored

You can control what your browser stores in several ways:

Browser settings: most browsers let you block or delete cookies and clear local storage through their privacy settings. Blocking the platform authentication cookies prevents you from signing in.
Theme preference: clearing site data for this website resets it to the default theme.
Contact form: if you block Cloudflare Turnstile, the form may not be able to send. You can email us instead.

5. Third-Party Cookies

We do not use third-party analytics, advertising, or social-media cookies on our website. We do not allow third-party advertising networks to set cookies on our website or platform. The only third-party service on the website that may store data on your device is Cloudflare Turnstile on the Contact page, described in section 3.3, which is used for security and not for advertising or analytics.

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in technology, regulation, or our business practices. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
